Meet Our Team

Andy Bedlack

Andy Bedlack

CEO, Healthcare

Mr. Andy Bedlack currently serves as the CEO of Tarian’s medical equipment management business. Prior to the founding of The Tarian Group, Andy worked for G4S Secure Solutions and progressed through several roles during his 24-year career with the company. His first 18 years were focused on operations, beginning as an operations manager supporting the Mid-Atlantic Region before being asked to lead the Nashville market for the company. Andy continued to progress to roles with increasing responsibility before being asked to lead the Southeast Region of G4S as the Regional Vice President. Having had significant success growing and expanding the business in the southeast market, Andy was asked to lead the company’s sales organization as the Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Under his leadership, the company experienced the three most successful growth years in its history. Most notably, Andy significantly expanded the company’s healthcare security business. Based upon the accelerated growth, he was asked to build a new division of the company dedicated to healthcare security and supporting services. Within three years, the new division had more than doubled the company’s healthcare business and was recognized throughout the industry for their commitment to quality and exceptional service delivery.

Andy’s focus continues to be on the development and management of best-in-breed healthcare labor solutions and establishing the Tarian brand as the industry’s most reputable service provider.

Stephen Levine

CEO, Commercial

Mr. Stephen Levine currently serves as the CEO of Tarian’s commercial security division, leading all aspects of the company’s growth and success story. Stephen has spent the last thirty-two years serving in various executive leadership roles within the security industry.

In 1991 Stephen launched Allied Protection Service, a company focused on providing best-in-class armed and unarmed security guard services in Florida.

In 2007, Stephen sold Allied Protection Service to Miami-based private equity investors, Trivest Partners.  Allied Protection Service became the platform company for Trivest’s Allegiance Security Group, LLC.  Stephen initially served as a regional vice president for Allegiance Security Group, and subsequently was named CEO in 2012. He facilitated the sale of Allegiance Security Group to Universal Protection Services in April 2013. In April 2015, Stephen was hired by LaSalle Capital, a Chicago-based private equity firm, to be the CEO of United American Security, LLC (UAS).

At UAS, Stephen facilitated a rapid revenue and profit growth strategy and was instrumental in the sale of the company to GardaWorld in March 2018. He was retained by GardaWorld after the transaction as their Vice Chairman of US Security Services, a role he performed until late 2019.

Andrew Cline

Andrew Cline

CAO, The Tarian Group

Mr. Andrew Cline is co-founder and Chief Administrative Officer for Tarian. He aims to help Tarian become the premier provider of protective services, ancillary healthcare services, and technology services that further safety and security. His focus is on building the operational foundations of Tarian services, strategic implementation of the systems of support needed for efficient and effective service delivery, and improving the stakeholder experience through strategic service models, innovations, and technologies.

Prior to Tarian, Andrew was at G4S Secure Solutions, where he helped develop a newly formed Healthcare Division, served as Director of the National HCA account, served as the Privacy Officer, and developed a Department of Compliance and Ancillary Services within the G4S Healthcare Division. Prior to his G4S tenure, he served as System Director of Safety Services for KentuckyOne Health, and as a Director of Business Resiliency within the Catholic Health Initiatives organization.

Andrew’s early career included regional and statewide responsibilities in KY serving as a Director and Deputy Executive Director for state government offices. His work included work serving in various roles including as a Regional Epidemiologist within Central Kentucky, the Director of the KY Strategic National Stockpile Program in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Director of the National Background Check Program in the Office of the Inspector General, and as the Dep. Executive Director of the Office of Homeland Security within the Office of the Governor. After leaving state government, he was founder and Director of the Division of Protective Medicine within the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Medicine at the University of Louisville, and served as adjunct faculty at Louisiana State University’s National Center for Biomedical Research and Training as a chemical and biological weapons readiness instructor.

In addition to his current work with Tarian, Andrew’s services in his community include being a 3-term, publicly elected school board member in Shelby County KY, and he serves on the state Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) board of directors where he volunteers to serve as a member of the governance committee and chairs the finance committee.

Ronald Augustin

Ronald Augustin

CFO, The Tarian Group

Mr. Ronald Augustin is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Tarian Group, overseeing all finance, accounting and treasury aspects of the business. Prior to Tarian, Mr. Augustin was the CFO for GardaWorld Security Services U.S. from June 2018 to August 2020. In his role, Ron participated in several add-on acquisitions and integrations ranging from $5M to $250M in revenue.

Prior to GardaWorld, Ron was a consultant/director with ACM Capital Partners, a Miami based advisory and restructuring firm. While at ACM Capital, he led the refinancing of a $20M ABL facility for a logistics company, the sale process of a $80M security guard company along with the CEO, and has cultivated relationships with banks, private equity firms and private investors.

Ron also served as the CFO of Allegiance Security in Morehead City, NC, and was the CFO of a manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL. He also has performed due diligence on potential acquisition candidates and provided post-acquisition services for Trivest Partners.

Scott Kaeser

CDO, The Tarian Group

Mr. Scott Kaeser is currently the Chief Development Officer for the Tarian Group. As a member of the Tarian executive team, Scott oversees all acquisition and partnership activity while promoting the strategy, growth, and value creation of the business.

Prior to Tarian, Scott was hired by a mid-market PE firm, LaSalle Capital, to re-energize growth at United American Security (UAS), their security services portfolio company. During his tenure at UAS, he was instrumental in growing topline and EBITDA through corporate development efforts, and facilitating the sale of the company to a strategic acquirer, GardaWorld. After the transaction, Scott spent two and a half years as a member of the executive management team at GardaWorld, continuing to create shareholder value while building the best security services business in the U.S.

Scott graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in 2000. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Lake Forest Academy and is the President of the Trebes Park Advisory Council. He is an avid traveler and runner, and lives in Chicago with his wife and two kids.

Ray Healy

Ray Healy

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. Ray Healy currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for The Tarian Group, leading all aspects of the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Ray has spent the last 21 years serving in various executive leadership roles within the security, transportation, and CPG industries.

Prior to joining Tarian, Ray served as the SVP Client Development for Arctic Glacier from 2019-2023 charged with growing the organization’s revenue and profitability with the national client base. From 2016-2019, Ray served as VP/GM National Accounts for U.S. Security Associates charged with sales and account management oversight for a $724M client portfolio.

Ray resides in Colorado and offices out of the Denver regional headquarters.
