Senior executive with over 20 years of experience in leading public and private entities’ healthcare, safety and technology initiatives. Significant background in government grants and contracts, business operations, coordination and implementation of projects with interdisciplinary teams, and development of new programs, initiatives, and entities.
Mr. Cline is co-founder and Chief Administrative Officer for the Tarian Group, LLC, a national security services company. He aims to help Tarian become the premier provider of protective services, ancillary healthcare services, and technology services that further safety and security. His focus is on building the operational foundations of Tarian services, strategic implementation of the systems of support needed for efficient and effective service delivery, and improving the stakeholder experience through strategic service models, innovations, and technologies.
Prior to Tarian, Andrew was at G4S Secure Solutions, where he helped develop a newly formed Healthcare Division, served as Director of the National HCA account, served as the Privacy Officer, and developed a Department of Compliance and Ancillary Services within the G4S Healthcare Division. Prior to his G4S tenure, he served as System Director of Safety Services for KentuckyOne Health, and as a Director of Business Resiliency within the Catholic Health Initiatives organization.
Mr. Cline’s early career included regional and statewide responsibilities in KY serving as a Director and Deputy Executive Director for state government offices. His work included work as a Regional Epidemiologist within Central Kentucky, as the Director of the KY Strategic National Stockpile Program in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Director of the National Background Check Program in the Office of the Inspector General, and as the Dep. Executive Director of the Office of Homeland Security within the Office of the Governor. After leaving state government, he was founder and Director of the Division of Protective Medicine within the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Medicine at the University of Louisville, and served as adjunct faculty at Louisiana State University’s National Center for Biomedical Research and Training as a chemical and biological weapons readiness instructor.
In addition to Mr. Cline’s current work with Tarian, his services in his community include being a 3-term, publicly elected school board member in Shelby County KY, and serves on the state Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) board of directors where he volunteers to serve as a member of the governance committee and chairs the finance committee.
