Chad Starwalt serves as Tarian’s Chief Operating Officer, leading the company’s security operations and ensuring the effective execution of its operational strategy. With a background shaped by his service in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division and as a former police officer, Chad brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to leadership that aligns with Tarian’s core values of precision, accountability, and service excellence.
Throughout his career in the private security industry, Chad has held senior operational roles overseeing large-scale deployments, critical infrastructure contracts, and complex regional portfolios. He has earned a reputation for driving results through operational readiness, strong team leadership, and a consistent focus on client satisfaction. His ability to align field operations with strategic objectives strengthens Tarian’s national footprint and enhances our capacity to deliver responsive, high-quality service.
Chad holds both a B.A. and an MBA from the University of Illinois. As a key member of Tarian’s executive leadership team, he plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission and ensuring our teams remain trusted to protect what matters most.

Renowned for catalyzing transformation and delivering enhanced results, Andrew’s extensive background spans executive leadership roles across both public and private sectors. From influential positions within the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Office of the Inspector General, to the Office of Homeland Security in state government, Andrew went on to leverage his expertise to bolster safety protocols within academic and research institutions. Before joining Tarian, Andrew contributed significantly to the successful development of security healthcare divisions and compliance services for a global security services leader. His drive and pioneering vision consistently elevate outcomes, aligning with Tarian’s commitment to driving enduring success for our clients and stakeholders through the establishment of new industry standards.

Mike joined Tarian with over 30 years of legal, compliance, risk management and law enforcement experience. Most recently he was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the North American region of an international security group, where he managed the legal. Compliance, and risk management functions. As Chief Compliance Officer, he was responsible for US Government contracts globally, gaining significant international experience.
Mike graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was named a member of the Order of the Coif (top 10%). Prior to going in-house, Mike worked in law firms in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Atlanta, litigating business disputes. For over 11 years Mike was a City of Miami Beach Police Officer, working full-time prior to and during law school, and volunteering as a Reserve Officer after beginning his legal career. He has been happily married to Deborah for over 30 years, and they have three children, five grandchildren, one dog and three cats.

With a commitment to mentorship and development, Dave coaches sales executives to unlock their full potential and thrive in a competitive and mature service sector. Rarely one to accept the status quo as the best we can do for our clients, he actively fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. On Dave’s team, he measures success by more than just numbers.
